This was just after we finished the hike, when we arrived as the Nepisiquit Lake it started to thunder and rain, then pour down huge cold drops of rain. As long as we continued walking we stayed warm, and at least the mosquitoes quit torturing us, but once we got back to the parking lot we were soaked, but very happy. We started driving away, and then the car began to act up again, and then quit running altogether. We were wet and cold for a good 2 hours after that, having to drive in spurts to a garage, and then towed a good 20 miles in the Cadillac to where our hotel was. If you have ever been in a car, on top of a tow truck at 60 miles an hour on the windy roads of Beaver Bay in MN, count yourself among the few people who have experienced such an interesting and exhilarating ride of your life that you probably will never forget.
