Christmas at Home in France

I didn't think that our trip back home would be so eventful. We got to the airport way too early, so we ended up waiting for two hours before we could board the plane. I just sat there on the chair watching the same news reports on the television and watched people walk back and forth. Getting to Chicago our plane was delayed for a good hour and a half, and when we finally boarded the plane we were surprised to see two of our friends on the same flight! Tim and Anna Taballioux! Much to my utter disgust, I realized that my iPod didn't want to work. I abandoned that idea, and ended up watching a movie. Getting to London, we waited for about 45 minutes on the terminal because another plane was having mechanical problems, yep, we missed our flight to Lyon. It was about 7 in the morning and the next flight to Lyon would leave at 3. We had about 7 hours to kill. When we were finally able to get off the plane, it was about 8 in the morning. Tim had a brilliant idea, "Lets go visit the city of London!" So thats what we did, we went and visited the castle of Windsor. It was alot of fun! Finally boarding the plane, our fatigue coming and going, we got to Lyon, and couldn't wait to see our family, guess what? Our luggage was lost. I had to stand in line for a good 45 minutes to give them the information for our baggage. Finally, we were able to see Pops, Mommy and the boys! The boys sure had grown since the last time we had seen them!
